Hundreds of runners and supporters showed up for the First Annual Katie Welling Memorial Run on Saturday, November 24. The event honored the memory of Katie Welling, a 2002 BHS graduate and track star, whose life and tragic death touched every one who knew her. The runners had a beautiful day for the event, which raised more than $20,000 for the Foundation. The run began at "Katie's Tree," planted in her memory near the Alumni Walk.
