Ways You Can Participate

1.  Make a Donation:

Gifts of Cash

Contributions are tax-deductible and may qualify for corporate matching. 

United Way Designation

Donors who participate in their company's United Way Campaign are now able to designate their United Way contributions be allocated to The Bronxville School Foundation.  To do this, indicate on the United Way paperwork that you want your contributions designated for the United Way Tristate donor # 040184 - Bronxville School Foundation.
 

In Memoriam

To offer sympathy or pay tribute to a deceased individual.  Click here to see gifts in memoriam.

Gifts of Securities

The Foundation maintains a brokerage account to accept gifts held either in the owners name or in street name.

In Recognition

To honor a former teacher, administrator, alumni class, friend or family member.  Click here to see gifts honoring individuals.

Planned Gifts or Bequests

Can be included in a will (or other estate planning instrument) or as a codicil or agreement.

Designated Gifts

A contribution to one or more of the funds already established.

Life insurance

The Foundation can be named beneficiary on most types of life insurance policies.

Alumni Walk

Bricks in recognition of former students permanently placed at the schools entrance.

2. Serve on the Foundation Board of Directors

In the spring, we nominate new members to the Foundation board.   Anyone who has an interest in serving can send a letter to our V.P. of the Nominating Committee to express that interest in being considered for our board in the future.   Please contact Executive Director, Peggy Williams (914-395-0515, williamp@bronxville.k12.ny.us), or a current Board Member.

3.  Volunteer

We need help from many volunteers during the year to get our mailings completed. These mailings take place in the boardroom at school. We also have been extremely fortunate to have some community members with expertise in particular areas such as photography, desktop publishing, marketing and graphic design, volunteer their services to help us with specific short-term projects. If you have a special talent or interest such as these, there are many ways you may be able to contribute to Foundation activities. 4.  Apply for a Grant

Apply for a grant to enrich the educational experience for our students.
